The Opportunity
As a Senior Software Engineer on our Core Engineering team, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to fundamentally change the relationship between humans and computing power. You'll own the engineering aspects of our proprietary processes, code, LLMs, and integration layers that form the foundation of our senses-integrated-compute platform.
This is a rare opportunity to architect systems that will define the future of human-computer integration, working with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced startup environment with a $1T total addressable market in our sights.
Core Responsibilities
Build brilliant systems. Solve complex problems. Create the future.
- Architect and implement our next-generation senses-integrated-compute platform, enhancing our current production deployments through innovation in scalability, flexibility, and integration
- Lead the development of real-time capabilities for bidirectional audio, video, and sensor streaming for human-computer integration
- Design and build sophisticated turn detection systems with multiple configurable modes to accommodate different interaction styles
- Create robust integration layers between our platform and external systems (WebRTC, storage, databases, etc.)
- Implement error handling and recovery mechanisms to ensure resilient, production-quality systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Front-End, Middleware, and Systems Integration to deliver cohesive solutions
- Mentor and guide other developers while establishing engineering best practices

How to Apply
Email: [email protected]
If you're ready to join our Core Engineering team and help us revolutionize the relationship between humans and computing power, we want to hear from you. Rather than a traditional resume, we invite you to submit a thoughtful proposal or pitch that showcases your vision, approach, and unique value proposition for this role.
Show us how you think, how you solve problems, and how you would approach building our next-generation senses-integrated-compute platform. We value quality over quantity – a well-considered, thoughtful submission that demonstrates a "bias for least action" will impress us far more than rushed, generic output.
IAXOV is committed to creating an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued and respected. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds.
